Frequently Asked Questions
How do I contact customer support?
You can contact our developer support team directly by emailing alpinist@gmail.com. Please include your device model, operating system version, and details about your inquiry or issue.
How does Scan & Listen protect my privacy?
AI Narrator processes Scan & Listen pages entirely on your device. Captured images are stored in a private temporary directory during your session, used only for local OCR and speech playback, and deleted when the session ends. No photos or document contents are uploaded to external servers.
What file formats are supported for import and export?
AI Narrator supports importing PowerPoint (.pptx), PDF documents, and plain text (.txt). Export options include chapterized audiobooks (.m4b), audio files (.wav, .mp3), and narrated presentations.
What should I do if speech generation fails or audio does not play?
1. Ensure your device has sufficient free storage for audio caching.
2. Check that your device volume is turned up and Silent / Do Not Disturb mode is not muting audio output.
3. Restart the app. If the issue persists, reach out to us at alpinist@gmail.com with the file type and details.
